The Registered Dietitian will play a vital role in our integrative care model by providing individualized nutrition counseling, leading experiential food-based groups, and collaborating closely with our interdisciplinary team to support holistic client wellness.

With us, you’ll be part of the next frontier in mental health care with an integrative treatment model and outcomes research approved by a third-party validated Institutional Review Board (IRB). We blend individualized therapy and skills coaching, hands‑on family work, group-based clinical support and a bustling community and social Clubhouse experience unseen elsewhere in our industry. With competitive salaries between $65,000 and $75,000 (based on background/experience) and a proud commitment to diversity in the workplace that affirms all races, genders and backgrounds, our strength is our community and we hope that includes you!

What You Will Do:
  • Provide one-on-one nutritional counseling tailored to young adults navigating complex mental health challenges, empowering them with individualized, evidence-based support.
  • Facilitate didactic and skill-based groups (i.e. psycho‑education, meal planning, grocery shopping, and experiential food activities) on-site and off-site in the community, as clinically indicated.
  • Co‑facilitate process groups about food, eating, and body image.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and use the treatment plan to inform all nutrition and exercise services.
  • Conduct nutritional assessments of all newly admitted clients.
  • Maintain a caseload of clients who need regularly planned and scheduled meal planning and dietitian support.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new nutrition and fitness groups.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and meetings as needed.
  • Communicate with all referral sources and coordinate care with external providers on a regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date charts that comply with expectations and standards.
  • Participate in chart and utilization reviews as needed and instructed by Operations.
  • Participate in weekly supervision with the Supervising Dietitian, four times a week group supervision, and co‑facilitator supervision as indicated by the direct supervisor.
  • Manage and oversee ordering and stocking of food for the site.
What You Need To Qualify:
  • Registered Dietitian license required.
  • The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a clinical / behavioral health setting.
  • EDO experience preferred.
What We Offer:
  • Full benefits including comprehensive medical, dental, vision and a 401(k) with up to 3% company match, fully vested after 3 years.
  • Flexible PTO for a team that’s rested, recharged and feeling their best.
  • Free in‑house clinical trainings, DEIB trainings and yearly spending allowance for continuing education credits (CEUs).
  • Flexible, creative, team‑based work environment in the heart of Washington, DC and in an inspiring, centrally‑located therapeutic setting.
  • We are family‑owned and operated and proud to be a trusted, CARF‑accredited organization.
