Project Director - managed care

Healthcare leaders are encouraged to consider a Project Director role with Liberty Healthcare Corp. This role will be responsible for directing Liberty Healthcare’s new consulting partnership with one of the nation’s largest health insurers and Medicaid / Medicare plans in Washington, DC. The downstream impact of this initiative will help ensure members receive high quality care. Specific project elements include evaluating and measuring gaps in performance, efficiency, and effectiveness in quality performance, population health and equity, member services and cultural competency, care coordination and delivery system improvement, administrative and reporting responsibilities, and adherence with District of Columbia Medicaid requirements.

• Liaising with clients, leaders and stakeholders
• Coordinating a small team of physician consultants and subject matter experts
• Executing provider reviews and a comprehensive needs assessment
• Overseeing data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Participating in onsite reviews of providers in Washington, DC
• Ensuring contract deliverables are met
• Project management

• Annual salary: $100,000

• Master’s degree
• Five or more years of healthcare industry experience
• Successful track record of leading impactful healthcare quality improvement initiatives
• Deep knowledge of project management methodologies
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare data and trends
• Working knowledge of HEDIS measures and CMS star ratings
• Ability to lead and influence others by driving alignment, collaboration, and results
• Knowledge of the Washington, DC healthcare system
• Residency within reasonable commuting distance of Washington, DC

This project has an estimated duration of 18 months, with an anticipated launch in the spring of 2026 and conclusion in the fall of 2027. Applicants should be willing to commit to the duration of the project. Although employment is not guaranteed beyond the conclusion of this project, high consideration will be given to the Project Director for similar leadership roles within the organization.
