The Willard Inter Continental Washington, DC is one of the most iconic hotels in the Nation’s Capital. We take our cleanliness standards seriously. We’re searching for a Laundry Attendant with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for perfection to ensure every guest enjoys a truly memorable experience.

A little taste of your day‑to‑day

• Operate washers, dryers, sheet folder, towel folder and table linen ironer machines.
• Fold clean linens and store them as appropriate.
• Help guests in any way you can – whether they’ve forgotten their toothbrush or need to find the elevator.
• Keep your supervisor informed of progress or problems.
• Monitor and control supplies to minimise waste.
• Do your best to reunite guests with any lost or misplaced items.

What we need from you

• It’s a physical role; you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important.
• Occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms) and pushing or pulling heavy objects.
• Ability to bend and kneel to complete some activities.
• Literacy skills – reading, writing and basic maths skills.
• Flexible attitude to shifts – nights, weekends and/or holidays may be required.

The hourly pay rate for this role is $26.27. This rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Washington, DC.
