We are a truly international team, therefore this position can be based in Amsterdam, Manchester and Dublin!

At Booking we have are going through the exciting transition of building a sourcing function from the ground up and are looking for a Lead Technology Sourcer to join our new team!

As a Lead Sourcer, you will be responsible for owning and managing the sourcing strategy for your designated talent segment within technology hiring. You will partner with Recruiters, hiring teams and leadership to lead strategic sourcing-related project for the wider Talent Acquisition team and be an ambassador for best practice around data management & compliance.

As an expert in Sourcing, leading and guiding the team in their pursuit of hiring goals and delivering actionable insights to the business is key!

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Senior stakeholders
  • Provide strategic guidance and advice in a true partnership with Leadership team
  • Conduct research to map our markets, generate candidate names and profiles, and develop creative sourcing strategies in close collaboration with our recruiting team
  • Continually contribute to the knowledge base of your Talent Acquisition team (i.e. Leadership, Tech, Commercial) by providing education on industries and talent pool;
  • Analyze sectors for issues and trends, actively develop and share intellectual capital across the organization
  • Partner with the business, HR and knowledgeable top industry sources to identify top companies for talent and maintain a database of people in those companies
  • Deliver results with little supervision, and effectively manage multiple complex searches and candidates
  • Inform internal clients regarding search strategies and status
  • Prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast paced, evolving work environment
ideal Profile & Experience
  • 7+ years Strategic and highly-complex in-house sourcing experience within large technology business
  • Expert in sourcing craft and strategy for a range of technical crafts and roles of different levels
  • Strong market mapping skills and
  • Excellent candidate attraction and engagement tactics with an innovative approach and ability to engage with all level of candidates and stakeholders
  • Experience driving the partnership with hiring teams, recruiters, including senior management
  • Experience developing talent market insights and data to influence leadership and cross-functional team decisions
  • Demonstrated track record of building working relationships with leaders and cross-functional partner
