Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Part‑Time HR Representative to support daily HR operations, employee lifecycle activities, and compliance. This role assists with onboarding and offboarding, maintaining HR records, employee support, recruiting coordination, and HRIS updates. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism. Experience with HRIS systems such as iSolved and recruiting for classified or federal contract positions is preferred but not required.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a point of contact for employee HR questions and support
Maintain accurate employee records and update HRIS/payroll systems
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system setup
Assist with benefits administration, timekeeping, and HR reporting
Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate tracking
Ensure HR documentation and processes remain compliant and up to date
4+ years of HR administrative or HR operations experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience preferred (iSolved a plus)
Experience supporting federal contractors or classified recruiting is a plus
15–20 hours per week with consistent availability

Hourly compensation based on experience
- Preferably in the DMV area (Mostly Remote)
- Experience with iSolved (preferred) or similar HRIS platforms (Paychex, ADP, UKG, Bamboo
HR, etc.) - Experience supporting recruiting for classified positions (DoD/IC), including:
- Clearance‑sensitive recruiting coordination
- Working with prime/subcontractor hiring processes
- Managing candidate documentation and restricted communications
- Familiarity with federal contractor environments and compliance‑driven HR operations
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP) a plus
- Prior military experience (preferred)
