You will develop and manage base compensation plans, non‑qualified deferred compensation, and 401(k) and profit‑sharing plans, while acting as a fiduciary to safeguard the best interests of participants.

• Establish and update compensation and benefits strategies, including salary structures, and evaluate market competitiveness against industry averages.
• Conduct ongoing market analysis and benchmarking to guarantee pay practices remain competitive, including audits on job responsibilities, FLSA classification, and job‑leveling.
• Ensure compliance of all programs with federal, state, and local regulations and implement technology for real‑time pay analysis and compliance flagging.
• Use compensation data and analytics to inform proactive retention strategies, identify flight risks, and predict future talent needs with AI‑driven compensation analytics.
• Develop executive‑level dashboards providing real‑time insights into base salary, ranges, cost changes, employee activity, market changes, and internal mobility.
• Lead a compensation think tank exploring future‑of‑work trends such as mobile workforce impacts, flexible compensation, and emerging technologies, positioning DPR as an industry innovator.
• Manage 401(k) fiduciary duties, oversee risk management, and maintain legislative compliance for processing contributions and distributions.
• Review and benchmark third‑party administrators, investment advisors, and vendors for cost‑effectiveness.
• Coordinate ongoing communication campaigns to keep employees informed and engaged with the compensation plan.
• Conduct annual testing (e.g., non‑discrimination, top‑heavy tests) to maintain compliance and balance deferral approaches.
• Design and implement financial‑literacy programmes, leveraging technology to offer personalised guidance and investment advice for retirement readiness.
• Recommend design improvements for 401(k) and NQDC plans, staying current on regulatory changes and reporting requirements.
• Develop NQDC plans that are flexible, meet specific group goals, and comply with Section 409A and risk mitigations.
• Communicate education initiatives ensuring employees fully understand NQDC risks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years progressive experience in compensation and retirement benefits, especially 401(k) plan management.
• Subject‑matter expertise in qualified and non‑qualified plans.
• Deep knowledge of compensation structures, job leveling, FLSA determination, and market pricing tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer).
• In‑depth understanding of retirement planning, investment strategies, ERISA, and non‑qualified plan tax rules.
• Strong 401(k) rule, compliance, and operations knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with employees and providers.
• Familiarity with HR and benefits administration best practices.
• Preferred industry experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel, statistical modelling, HRIS (Workday preferred).

• Preferred: CCP (Certified Compensation Professional), CEBS, or similar competency certification.
