Actively seeking a Human Resources Administrative Project Assistant for a HYBRID and CONTRACT (9 Months - 1 Year) Position within a Law Firm. The right candidate will have 2-3+ years of Administrative or secretarial experience in a law firm, professional services firm, or corporate environment. HR experience is not required.

HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

LOCATION:

HYBRID | Washington D.C.

PAY: $60 - $70K (Commensurate w/Experience)

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • H.S. Diploma REQUIRED; Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED
  • 2-3+ years of HR, Administrative, or Secretarial Experience
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Workday Experience is a PLUS
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department
  • Participates in developing the Human Resources Department budget
  • Tracks the authorization to work status for employees with temporary work permits and/or visas
  • Updates I-9 forms and processing, as needed
  • Creates and maintains various sensitive and/or confidential files for the department
  • Provides logistical support for DC professional development programs
  • Assists the Human Resources Project Manager in processing leaves of absence in HRIS
  • Assists with troubleshooting and resolving business services professionals timecard issues
  • Coordinates tuition reimbursement program for business services professionals
  • Tracks the completion of the annual and interim check-in performance evaluation process
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
