Overview

We’re looking for a Cyber Data Analyst to support forensic data analysis efforts that turn complex, unpredictable datasets into actionable investigative insights. This role focuses on ingestion, processing, analysis, and reproducible analytics to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and leads that advance cyber cases. The ideal candidate blends rigorous analytic tradecraft with practical engineering judgment, can work with messy real-world data, and can communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Forensic Data Analysis & Method Development:
Ingest and analyze large, complex datasets in varied formats; develop tailored analytics and methodologies to support examination and attribution
  • Build repeatable data science processes (including machine learning/data mining/statistics where appropriate) and document them for reuse.
  • Investigative Enablement:
Generate investigative leads and analytic outputs that help teams understand scope, impact, and correlations across case data.
  • Reporting & Briefing:
Produce clear analytic narratives and professional materials (reports, briefings, charts) suitable for technical and executive audiences.
  • Collaboration & Workflow Integration:
Work in lockstep with GTLs and mission teams; participate in meetings to clarify requirements, provide status, and adjust priorities quickly.
Minimum Requirements
  • Citizenship & Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility required.
  • Analytics Capability:
Experience performing forensic/cyber data analysis over complex datasets; comfort with visualization and building reproducible workflows.
  • Communication:
Ability to translate analytic results into clear findings and recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting cyber investigations (law enforcement, incident response, or threat-focused analytics)
  • Experience working in classified environments with strong data handling discipline (marking, safeguarding, need-to-know)
