The Data Scientist/Statistician II provides advanced quantitative analysis and data management expertise to support organizational decision-making and data governance initiatives. This role performs complex data analysis, leads data mapping and ETL efforts, and develops visualizations to communicate insights effectively. The position identifies data quality issues and supports implementation of corrective strategies to enhance data integrity and operational performance.

• Perform advanced analysis of data entering, exiting, and residing within the organization.
• Identify, quantify, and assess data quality and integrity issues.
• Assist in developing and implementing remediation plans to resolve data deficiencies.
• Lead or support data mapping and extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau.
• Support routine data governance and management processes.
• Respond to complex ad hoc data requests and analytical inquiries.
• Conduct data validation, testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify data definitions, reporting needs, and analytical objectives.
• Communicate analytical findings through reports, visualizations, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with organizational data governance standards and policies.

• Approximately eight (8) years of experience in data science, statistical analysis, or related quantitative field.

• Demonstrated proficiency in ETL processes and data mapping.

• Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau.

• Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and analytical techniques.

• Experience supporting data governance and quality assurance processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to interpret complex quantitative findings and communicate insights effectively.

• Proficiency with data analysis software and database tools.

• Ability to manage multiple analytical initiatives simultaneously.

• Master’s Degree (MS/MA) in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline required.

• Relevant industry certifications preferred.
