Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $ to $35.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
* Set up and configure storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and direct attached storage.
* Administer day-to-day operations of the storage area network and related platforms.
* Perform maintenance, configuration changes, and deployments to SAN systems.
* Provision storage, create volumes, provision LUNs, and execute data migrations.
* Monitor storage capacity, health, and performance metrics to ensure high availability and performance.
* Implement and manage regular data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
* Configure storage technologies to communicate over IPv6 in addition to IPv

Experience Requirements
* Minimum 5 years providing storage solutions engineering support, including management, administration, and maintenance of SAN and NAS systems.
* Experience administering storage area networks, specializing in EMC and Net App systems and enterprise backup systems.
* Experience with storage cloud infrastructure.
* Ability to monitor storage capacity, health, and performance metrics.
* Ability to perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
* Strong knowledge of IPv6 networking, addressing, routing, subnetting, network design, and troubleshooting (preferred).

* EMC Certified Storage Administrator or Net App Certified Data Administrator, or equivalent certification.
