Service Now Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Now Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for developing custom applications, and significant experience in Service Now development. This role requires a deep understanding of Service Now platform capabilities, specifically focusing on custom application development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Service Now applications and modules to meet business requirements.
  • Implement technical development tasks using Service Now Flow Designer, business rules, and Access Control Lists (ACLs) to enhance the functionality and security of applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Utilize Angular

    JS and other relevant technologies to integrate and enhance Service Now functionalities.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of Service Now applications through rigorous testing and debugging.
  • Participate in project planning and provide technical guidance to optimize workflows and processes.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
Qualifications
  • ACTIVE Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Service Now System Administrator (CSA) and Application Developer (CAD) certifications are required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Service Now development, with a focus on custom application development.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to staying current with emerging Service Now technologies and best practices.
