Overview
ASSYST is seeking a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to join our engineering team for our upcoming project with our federal client in Washington DC.
The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing support of the Power Train LMS. This role ensures reliable system performance, data integrity, security, and a seamless user experience for learners, instructors, and course managers.
Responsibilities- Administer, configure, and maintain the Power Train LMS, including system settings, user interfaces, and browser compatibility.
- Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and data integrity while ensuring system security and compliance.
- Serve as the first line of support for LMS users by responding to inquiries and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Develop and maintain user documentation, including how-to guides and FAQs.
- Generate and analyze reports on course completion, user engagement, and mandatory training compliance to support audits and leadership reporting.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and training teams to manage course content, templates, and delivery formats (online, blended, instructor-led).
- Ensure all LMS content and configurations meet accessibility requirements, including Section 508 compliance.
- Support system enhancements and modernization initiatives, including automation, dashboard development, and integration with other enterprise systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Instructional Technology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience administering a Learning Management System in an enterprise or government environment.
- Demonstrated experience administering Power Train LMS or a comparable enterprise LMS platform.
- Experience managing user roles, permissions, reporting, and system configuration.
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards, including Section 508 requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer support skills.
