Avid Systems is seeking a Service Now Architect to support the Office of the Chief Technology Officer of the District of Columbia Department of. As a Service Now Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Service Now solutions within our organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging the Service Now platform.
This role requires a deep understanding of Service Now capabilities, best practices, and a strong ability to architect solutions that meet the organization's needs.
Design end-to-end Service Now solutions that align with business objectives and requirements. Develop technical architecture, data model, integrations, and workflows to support business processes.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies. Mentor team members on Service Now platform capabilities and implementation strategies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. Translate requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
Design and implement integrations between Service Now and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP, MID Servers, and other integration techniques. Ensure data integrity and security in integrations.
Identify opportunities to optimize Service Now performance and scalability. Implement performance tuning measures and monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation.
Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and security standards in Service Now implementations. Implement security controls, access restrictions, and audit mechanisms as necessary.
Create technical documentation including design documents, architecture diagrams, and configuration guides. Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Service Now Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications preferred.
- Proven experience architecting and implementing complex Service Now solutions in enterprise environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Service Now platform architecture, modules, and components.
- Strong knowledge of the following Service Now modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITFM, HRSD, PPM and SPM
- Experience with Service Now integrations using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
