- Provide expert guidance on cloud security architecture for BOP cloud deployments
- Review and validate FedRAMP authorization status for cloud service providers used by BOP
- Assess cloud security configurations against FedRAMP and DOJ security requirements
- Advise on cloud migration security strategies and hybrid architecture designs
- Evaluate cloud service provider security documentation and inheritance models
- Support authorization activities for cloud-hosted BOP systems
- Develop cloud security, architecture, documentation and reference designs
- Coordinate with CSPs on security control implementation and shared responsibility
Education: Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field REQUIRED.
Qualifications- Minimum 10 years in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or enterprise IT , 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, including demonstrated Gov Cloud experience
- Expert knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep understanding of FedRAMP authorization process and requirements
- Experience with cloud security architecture patterns and best practices
- Knowledge of cloud-native security services (IAM, KMS, security groups, etc.)
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM)
- Experience with containerization security (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud compliance frameworks and shared responsibility models
- Ability to evaluate and document control inheritance from cloud providers
- Cloud certifications preferred (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
