Key Responsibilities Front‑End & UI Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain Service Now Service Portal interfaces using:
    • HTML5, CSS3, Java Script
    • Angular

      JS (Service Portal widgets)
    • Bootstrap / UI Frameworks
  • Build and customize Service Portal widgets, themes, and layouts.
  • Develop responsive, mobile‑friendly, and cross‑browser compatible UI components.
  • Implement UI policies, client scripts, and UI scripts to enhance user interactions.
UI/UX Design
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into user‑centered designs.
  • Apply UX best practices for usability, accessibility (WCAG), and visual consistency.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
  • Ensure consistent branding and design standards across portals.
Web & Platform Integration
  • Integrate Service Now portals with REST APIs, third‑party systems, and custom web applications.
  • Optimize front‑end performance and maintain clean, reusable code.
  • Support portal enhancements across ITSM, HRSD, CSM, or custom applications.
Collaboration & Delivery
  • Work closely with Service Now architects, back‑end developers, and business analysts.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and iterative delivery cycles.
  • Perform UI testing, debugging, and documentation.
Here’s what you need
  • 3+ years of front‑end web development experience.
  • 2+ years of Service Now Service Portal development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more of the following:
    • HTML, CSS, Java Script
    • Angular

      JS (Service Portal framework)
    • Bootstrap or similar UI frameworks
  • Experience building custom Service Now widgets and themes.
  • Knowledge of Service Now UI components:
    • Client Scripts
    • UI Policies
    • UI Scripts
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, usability, and accessibility.
  • Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Ability to balance visual design with technical constraints.
Bonus points if you have
  • Experience with Service Now UI Builder / Now Experience (Next Experience).
  • Familiarity with ITSM, HRSD, CSM, or custom Service Now applications.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
  • Service Now CSA or CIS certifications.
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience modernizing legacy Service Portal UIs.
  • Exposure to React or modern front‑end frameworks (outside Service Now).
  • Design system or component library experience.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
