About the Role:As a Power Platform Architect, you will provide senior-level technical leadership in the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise collaboration and automation solutions within the Microsoft 365 environment. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, reporting, and data management through SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and AI-enabled tools. You will oversee SharePoint architecture, manage governance and permissions, develop Power Apps and Power Automate workflows, build Power BI dashboards, and integrate AI capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot and AI Builder.
This role ensures all solutions are secure, compliant, accessible, and aligned with Microsoft 365 Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and governance standards.
- Provide enterprise-level SharePoint Online administration, including site architecture, governance, and permissions management
- Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate workflows, and Power BI dashboards
- Implement and manage Dataverse data models and ensure optimized performance and integration
- Integrate AI-powered enhancements using Microsoft Copilot and AI Builder to improve automation and productivity
- Ensure all Microsoft 365 solutions adhere to DLP policies, governance standards, security requirements, and Section 508 accessibility compliance
- Develop and maintain role-based dashboards with KPIs to support leadership decision-making
- Prepare Sprint artifacts within two-week Agile cycles
- Produce technical documentation, user guides, and provide role-based training sessions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with program objectives

You will work at headquarters locations in Washington, DC;
Reston, VA;
Arlington, VA; or Boulder, CO.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in enterprise-level SharePoint Online administration and Microsoft 365 environments
- Proven expertise in Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Hands‑on experience implementing AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot and AI Builder
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 governance, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and compliance requirements
- Experience working in Agile environments, including sprint planning and backlog management
- Experience producing technical documentation and conducting user training
- Experience integrating APIs and advanced workflow automation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing reports or briefing materials
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, program management, and stakeholder teams
- US citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability
Skills:
- Experience supporting federal or government clients
- Experience integrating APIs and advanced workflow automation
- Experience developing enterprise dashboards and analytics reporting solutions
