Vision IT is seeking a Solutions Architect – Business Development & Technical Writing Support to develop innovative technical solutions and create compelling proposal content.

The Technical Writer – Solutions Architect (TW-SA) role involves producing clear proposal writing and thorough documentation for Government contracting projects.

• Ensuring Compliance with Government Standards and Regulations:
  Following FAR, Section 508, and Plain Language Guidelines.
• Technical Writing & Proposal Development Support:
  Creating and editing technical sections of proposals.
• Adapting to Emerging Technologies Like AI, ML, and Data Analytics:
  Utilizing AI tools for routine tasks.
• Focusing on Cybersecurity in Document Handling and Content:
  Following cybersecurity protocols.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in IT solution design, systems engineering, or architecture roles.
• Experience writing technical proposals for government or commercial clients.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems, cloud architectures, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and proposal management tools.

• Experience supporting Federal Government proposals (DoD, DHS, or Federal Civilian agencies).
• Familiarity with proposal methodologies such as Shipley or APMP best practices.
• Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CISSP, PMP).
• Experience with Agile/Dev Sec Ops  methodologies.
