We seek an Assistant Project Manager | Project Coordination & Analytical Support [USCG
15015] for Program Support on a contingent basis (Exempt W2, No overtime pay) working On-Site (Client Site) in the Washington, DC area, supporting USCG CG-PSC modernization initiatives requiring change management, analytics, and portfolio governance support.
We seek candidates with relevant Defense and Security Sector experience to support professional services engagements for Defense and Security Sector Clients such as USCG. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 engagement with potential conversion to a Full-Time Pro Sidian employed W-2 position.
Job Overview
Provide services and support as an Assistant Project Manager in the Defense, and Security Industry Sector focusing on Risk Management Solutions for clients such as U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) – Personnel Service Center (CG-PSC) and related divisions, generally located in Washington, DC and across the United States – Mid-Atlantic Region, on-site.
Provide organizational transformation, strategic execution, and mission-support modernization within a Federal civilian/military environment as part of advisory + execution support, embedded with leadership, focused on outcomes such as adoption, alignment, performance improvement, and decision quality. - Assist PM with execution support: meeting scheduling, agendas/minutes, action-item tracking, and follow-ups.
- Maintain project trackers (schedule, risks/issues, decisions, dependencies) and produce routine status reports.
- Conduct research and data gathering; support analysis and documentation of findings.
- Draft communications and reports; support SharePoint/O365 collaboration spaces and file organization.
- Provide surge support for data cleanup, migration prep, or validation activities as assigned.
- Support onboarding/offboarding documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for project routines.

QualificationsEducation / Experience / Qualifications
Associate's in Engineering, Business, or related field (Bachelor's preferred); PMP desired. 4 yrs; or 3 yrs with a Bachelor's or higher.
