Senior Systems Administrator

Your chance to join a growing, mission-driven technology company operating in highly regulated environments, looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to take full ownership of our internal IT and infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building, improving, and running systems end to end. You’ll own day-to-day IT operations while also leading longer-term improvements across infrastructure, security, and reliability.

What You’ll Do

• Own and administer Microsoft 365, identity, access, and user environments
• Manage laptops, devices, and endpoint configurations across the company
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, virtualization, networks, VPNs, and firewalls
• Monitor systems, logs, and alerts; respond to incidents and outages
• Improve security posture, backups, and compliance in regulated environments
• Work directly with vendors and internal teams to deliver infrastructure projects
• Take over IT responsibilities currently handled by technical leadership, freeing them to focus on core product work

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience as a systems or infrastructure administrator in small-to-mid-sized environments
• Hands-on background with Windows and Linux systems
• Comfortable owning infrastructure from build-out through day-to-day operations
• Practical networking knowledge (VPNs, firewalls, basic switching/routing)
• Security-minded, with experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments
• Self-directed, reliable, and comfortable being the “go-to” IT owner

Nice to Have

• Experience building environments from early-stage or growing companies
• Automation or scripting (Power Shell, Bash, Ansible, etc.)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks or hardening standards
• Experience working closely with founders or senior leadership
