We are seeking a Red Hat Linux System Administrator who will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Cameo systems in an AWS environment, maintaining the integrity and accessibility of all server resources, hardware, systems, and key processes.
JOB SUMMARYFull-time, on-site, in either Warrenton, VA or Fort Washington, MD. Active TS/SCI clearance required.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Self-starting and able to provide guidance/mentorship to junior administrators.
- Create and document technical standards and procedures, and support the engineering team in solutioning, engineering, and system administration tasks.
- Monitor system health and performance, ensure high availability of the system, and maintain overall product quality by working closely with PM and government technical leads.
- No travel required.
- Proven experience as a Red Hat Systems Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) command line.
- Familiarity with XRDP.
- Knowledge of image creation and deployment of a virtual desktop.
- Understanding of managing multiple users’ sessions or basic knowledge of sessman in a virtual desktop environment.
- Knowledge of Cameo No
Magic preferred. - Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of JIRA preferred, but not required.
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
- RHCSA required.
- IAT Level II Security Certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCN) required.
- AWS certification or experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience managing virtual/physical servers and LAN/SAN networked environments.
LOCATIONFull Time / On-site at Fort Washington, MD or Warrenton, VA.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTTop Secret Clearance with SCI.
SALARY RANGE$140,000 to $160,000.
