Service Now Business Analyst

Constellation seeks a Strategic Business Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC, as a detail-oriented and communicative professional consultant and Service Now subject matter expert to bridge the gap between business process needs. This role requires support on the development of technical solutions implemented in Service Now to process memos to agency senior executive leadership. The Strategic Business Analyst, working independently or as part of a contractor team, will evaluate and solve the agency’s business challenges, specifically in support of the Department of Homeland Security’s law enforcement mission by collecting, reviewing, and analyzing information and then synthesizing the information to assist senior executives make decisions to facilitate efficiency as well as increasing security.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, understand, and document business requirements
• Translate business requirements into clear, detailed technical requirements and user stories for development teams
• Work closely with developers, QA testers, and technical project managers to ensure that final solutions meet business objectives
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding
• Support meetings with key client teams and groups, providing insights, reporting out on analyses, and making relevant recommendations on program activities and direction
• Apply oral and written communication expertise to develop project deliverables, including analysis plans, written reports, briefing slides, and discussions with clients and stakeholders
• Leverage knowledge gained of agency policy and processes to help define project requirements, conduct analyses, and help to develop client solutions
• Create and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, including process and workflows, wireframes, and user guides

• At least 2 years of in-depth experience supporting a Service Now project independently or as part of a team
• Proficiencies with Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, SharePoint, and Power App
• Experience preparing quality reports and presentations for senior leadership
• Be a U.S. citizen able to pass a background investigation by the client agency. DHS clearance with CBP/ICE, or DoD Top-Secret preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, or other relevant fields is a plus
