Perficient is seeking a Certified Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to join our team. As a Technology Architect, you will provide technology direction, ensure implementation compliance, and drive innovation across multiple high‑impact projects.

• Experience building Pega applications using Dev Studio.
• Experience designing applications using Pega's Situational Layer Cake model, including frameworks.
• Experience working within an Agile environment as a Dev Lead on a Scrum or team construct.
• Experience with Pega platform Infinity 23 and higher.
• Knowledge of integration of Pega applications with enterprise level APIs and data service.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) Certification.
• Provide architectural solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation.
• Provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains.
• Work with application developers, users, operational leadership, and subject matter experts to understand current and future operational data analysis goals. Recommend modern technology stacks to meet those goals and help engineering teams migrate towards their use.
• Collaborate with the customer's operations and technology leadership on the future analytic goals of the organization, and design a technical architecture to meet those goals. Participate in configuring the architecture, and advise engineering teams on its efficient use.
• Lead a work stream or act as a team lead and manage non‑complex components of the work plan/project.
• Utilize analytical, process, and/or technical skills to meet project objectives and deliverables that are self‑directed and within project scope.

• Minimum 10 years of programming experience with Pega Platform.
• At least 5 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks.
• At least 2 years of experience with the Pega Government Framework, Cosmos and Constellation UI frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data‑informed task execution.
• Familiarity with AI‑enhanced platforms is a plus.
• A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected.
• Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint.
• Experience in complete project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
• Proven track record of technical leadership roles delivering solutions within defined time frames.
• Skilled in building relationships with clients and in practice development activities.
• Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Must be open to travel.

• Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off‑shore teams.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Certification in Pega platform (Certified Lead System Architect).
• Experience with authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all U.S. locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials.

It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate.
