Leidos is seeking Program Analysts / Technical Support professionals to provide analytical and technical advisory support to the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Defense Programs, in execution of the Nation's nuclear deterrence mission. These positions support Federal Program Managers responsible for nuclear weapons modernization and sustainment activities across the Nuclear Security Enterprise. Selected candidates will provide independent assessments of technical progress, program performance, integration challenges, and cross-organizational impacts involving NNSA headquarters, national security laboratories, nuclear weapon production facilities, and Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders.

Depending on experience and program alignment, candidates may support one or more mission areas within Defense Programs. The role requires the ability to operate effectively in complex federal environments, synthesize highly technical information, and translate it into actionable insights for federal and military leadership. The successful candidate is strategic, highly organized, responsive to leadership priorities, and capable of managing multiple high-visibility tasks in a dynamic and classified environment.

This is a full-time contractor-support position located on-site at NNSA offices in Albuquerque, NM. Level and compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical and technical advisory support to Federal Program Managers overseeing nuclear weapons programs.
  • Assess technical execution, integration risks, and schedule performance across geographically dispersed laboratories and production agencies.
  • Serve as a liaison among NNSA headquarters, national laboratories, production facilities, and DoD stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical and programmatic objectives.
  • Develop executive-level briefings, white papers, issue papers, and decision memoranda for federal leadership.
  • Provide situational analysis and recommendations regarding program execution, integration challenges, and cross-program impacts.
  • Support participation in DOE product realization processes, technical reviews, and interagency coordination meetings.
  • Lead or support preparation and response to data calls, Congressional inquiries, and short-notice requests from NNSA senior leadership and Departmental officials.
  • Identify emerging technical, policy, or programmatic risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Track action items and key deliverables, ensuring accountability and timely resolution of issues.
  • Support development of program plans, implementation strategies, and long‑range planning documents aligned to Defense Programs priorities.
Requirements
  • Active DOE Q clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Program Management, Business, or related discipline.
  • Experience supporting DOE/NNSA, DoD, national laboratories, nuclear production environments, or comparable federal programs.
  • Experience supporting nuclear weapons modernization, sustainment, life extension, or related defense acquisition efforts.
  • Understanding of Nuclear Security Enterprise roles and responsibilities, including design and production agency interfaces.
  • Experience briefing or supporting briefings for federal officials or military leadership.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to complex analytical efforts in a high‑visibility environment.
