We are seeking a senior-level systems engineering professional with deep data policy and governance experience to support a mission-focused program within the IC community.
This role blends systems engineering, data stewardship, governance policy, and applied AI/ML to strengthen compliance, optimize data quality, and enhance certified data repository (CDR) processes.

Required Qualifications- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- BS in STEM or related field and 8+ years of experience (additional experience may substitute for degree)
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IdAM) / ICAM delivery systems, authentication, authorization, and attribute architectures
- Familiarity with data governance principles, compliance, and metadata management
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to balance technical solutions and policy requirements
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical insights to policy and Sponsor stakeholders
- Translate governance policies into operational processes and technical solutions
- Partner with Data Stewards and stakeholders across the IC to optimize data attributes, metadata, and repository certifications
- Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to monitor compliance and data quality
- Apply AI/ML techniques to automate governance workflows such as anomaly detection and classification
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to track governance performance
- Ensure certified data assets meet standards for accuracy, consistency, and accessibility
- Recommend process improvements that enhance stewardship efficiency
- Experience with governance and metadata platforms such as Collibra, Informatica, or Alation
- Awareness of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policy and security policy development
- Experience with automation pipelines or AI-enabled governance tools
- Background in policy, governance, or compliance-driven environments
