Location-Type: Remote (40 hrs/week)

Duration: 6-12 month Contract (potential opportunity to convert)
Compensation Range: $39/hr - $49.50/hr W2
Job Description:
The Jr. Designer will create intuitive, visually consistent user interfaces for web and mobile applications within a large-scale digital and eCommerce environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI in Figma
- Maintain and expand reusable components within an established design system
- Audit and improve consistency across digital repositories
- Collaborate with product owners and development teams in Agile sprints
- Support multiple microservice-based product teams simultaneously
- Ensure responsive, mobile-first design standards (iOS & Android)
- Participate in design critiques and incorporate stakeholder feedback
- Contribute to occasional print and promotional design initiatives
- Must-Haves:
- 2 years of UI/UX, product, or digital design experience
- Portfolio containing design examples
- Advanced proficiency in Figma (design systems, components, documentation)
- Experience designing for mobile applications (iOS & Android)
- Experience working within and maintaining scalable design systems
- Strong understanding of responsive design, typography, layout, and accessibility fundamentals
- Experience collaborating in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and iterate quickly
- Nice-to-Haves:
- eCommerce platform experience
- Familiarity with React and component-based frameworks
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
- Experience with A/B testing or data-informed design
- Motion graphics or micro-interactions experience
- Print production or promotional design background
