Clearance:
Active IRS MBI Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
- Lead execution of the cybersecurity program in compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, IRS IRM 10.8, and applicable guidance from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources for ATO, continuous monitoring, and security control implementation efforts.
- Coordinate development and timely submission of required security artifacts (e.g., SSP, ISCP, BIA, SCA, POA&Ms, SBOM, C‑SCRM Plan).
- Serve as primary liaison between contractor teams, subcontractors, cloud providers, and government stakeholders (CO, COR, IRS Cybersecurity).
- Track remediation of vulnerabilities, POA&M progress, and compliance with Binding Operational Directives issued by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
- Oversee implementation milestones for MFA, encryption, Zero Trust Architecture, logging, boundary protection, and supply chain security controls.
- Facilitate audits, site reviews, and documentation requests, ensuring required responses are delivered within mandated timelines.
- Identify program risks and compliance gaps, develop mitigation strategies, and provide recurring status and risk posture reporting to government stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). Bachelor’s degree.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification or equivalent.
- 10 years or more of progressively responsible experience in information technology project management, systems analysis, and systems integration in large scale or mission‑critical environments.
- Of those 10 years, at least 5 years must be in a lead or supervisory capacity, managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing the full lifecycle of complex IT initiatives.
- Master’s degree, or equivalent experience
- ITIL, Agile, or DAWIA Level III PM certification
