Senior Automation QA Tester

Randstad is seeking an experienced Senior Automation QA Tester to join a dynamic client team in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in quality management, test automation, and development within Dev Ops environments. The Senior Automation QA Tester will contribute to complex IT projects, enhance QA processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions through innovative testing strategies and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, QA processes, and internal tools.
• Perform reviews of formal test plans, documented test results, and project deliverables.
• Monitor and evaluate QA tasks across enterprise-wide processes, including test life cycles, change management, and release management.
• Create standard operating procedures and metrics for the QA team based on best practices.
• Identify and propose process improvements throughout the QA lifecycle.
• Conduct investigations into technical and operational problems and produce QA Root Cause Analysis documentation.
• Provide recommendations regarding software defects and project timelines.
• Prepare, maintain, and review documentation for all QA phases.
• Verify that documented system requirements have been met and ensure compliance with QA standards.
• Support the evolution of QA strategies to align with best practices and quality deployments.
• Offer coaching and guidance to less experienced QA team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• 4-7 years of systems development and/or business experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality management, testing tools, and QA methodologies.
• Expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and test automation for Dev Ops.
• Core Java development experience (Java, Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlet, JDBC, Angular.
  
  JS).
• Hands-on experience with UI and API test automation.
