Network Engineer Senior

Senior Network Engineer – Washington DC

Everforth ECS Federal is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a mission-focused federal IT program in Washington DC. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Senior Network Engineer will provide senior‑level network engineering support for complex enterprise, classified, and secure communications environments.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of secure network infrastructure across mission‑critical federal IT environments.
• Lead network design activities, troubleshoot complex network issues, support encrypted communications, document network architecture, and mentor junior technical staff.
• Support change management, network security, segmentation, operational improvements, and strengthen network availability, performance, resilience, compliance, and secure configuration management across the enterprise.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 7 years network engineering experience
• Enterprise routing, switching, firewall, segmentation, and network security experience
• Experience supporting secure or mission‑critical environments

Desired

Skills:

• Security+, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, COMSEC, TACLANE/HAIPE, Zero Trust, classified network, or high‑availability infrastructure experience
