Senior ArcGIS Developer
Join our Randstad client in Washington, D.C. as a Senior ArcGIS Developer, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge ArcGIS solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in seamlessly integrating Esri ArcGIS Enterprise platform with various corporate applications, driving efficiency through SaaS and cloud-based solutions. If you have over ten years of experience in software development and integration, coupled with a passion for leveraging innovative technologies, we'd love to have you on board.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior ArcGIS Developer with our client at Randstad, your primary responsibilities include:
- Spearheading the delivery of ArcGIS solutions and establishing seamless integrations between Esri ArcGIS Enterprise platform and diverse corporate applications, encompassing SaaS and cloud-based solutions.
- Leveraging expertise in software development and integration methodologies along with tools to drive effective solutions, drawing on a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or GIS, combined with over ten years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrating proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL Server databases, and the adept use of third-party APIs and middleware.
- Executing advanced database management tasks, overseeing ArcGIS data and map service management, conducting geoprocessing, geospatial analysis, map compilation, and proficiently handling programming tasks.
- Crafting, refining, and meticulously documenting best practices and workflows for ArcGIS system integration and solution development.
- Bonus capabilities encompass experience with FME and/or the ArcGIS Interoperability extension, offering added value to the role.
- Actively participating in hands-on integration of the Esri ArcGIS Enterprise platform with other applications using 3rd party APIs and ArcGIS API, enhancing the overall efficiency and interoperability of systems.
