Data Entry
Responsibilities
Assist with general research and administrative work for the Brennan Center, including coordinating meetings and drafting routine correspondence. Attend and observe substantive meetings, events, and conversations on program work.
Work with the General Counsel and her team to identify opportunities to systematize and enhance the department’s record‑keeping systems related to compliance and litigation processes.
- Assist with data entry related to past and current litigation matters
- Compile template litigation pleadings and court rules
- Review and update litigation‑related website content
- Prepare and update guidance documents for staff distribution
- Research special projects as assigned
- Independent self‑starter who operates with high integrity, confidentiality, and discretion
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, friendly, punctual, energetic, and with a sense of humor
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, and a passion for our issues
- Experience with Windows, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word (necessary); database or other information‑management experience (helpful)
- Open to evolving responsibilities
Hours: Approximately 10–20 hours per week
Pay: $18.40 per hour
Duration: September – December 2026
