Position Title: Help Desk Technician
Location: NW Washington, DC
Industry: Non Profit
Reports to: Sr Systems Administrator
Status: Hybrid Remote
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
Position Summary- Answer, enter and track help desk calls and email messages
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, hard drives and monitors
- Assist with database troubleshooting and reporting
- Install and update software, create profiles, and set up computers for new employees
- Responsible for organization and inventory of computer equipment and software licenses
- Routine maintenance of computer equipment including setup and removal of any computers, laptops or monitors
- Contact third party vendors for repair and accompany technician while on-site
- Obtain vendor quotes and purchase hardware & software for the organization
- Pack, ship and track equipment sent to vendors
- Install software and hardware
- Minimum three years of related IT and/or help desk experience
- Experience with Microsoft Networking including Active Directory
- Familiarity with troubleshooting MS Office Suite products
- Ability to configure and deploy laptops and PCs
- Ability to manage MS Exchange online
- Experience troubleshooting website issues utilizing HTML capabilities
- Familiarity with Sharepoint
- Hardware, software or other IT program certification a plus
- Remain up to date with the latest developments and trends in the Information Technology field

Schedule:
8 hour shift Monday to Friday
