Copado Engineer (Salesforce)
Index Analytics is seeking a Copado Engineer (Salesforce) to support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area. The Copado Engineer (Salesforce) will collaborate with our other Salesforce Administrators to support successful releases amongst numerous interdependent Salesforce applications using Copado, our preferred CI/CD pipeline tool.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Salesforce environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user accessibility.
- Extensively work with Copado to set up, configure, and manage deployment pipelines for Salesforce.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth deployments and releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, mergers, and environment synchronization.
- Lead and guide best practices around Salesforce Dev Ops, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather technical requirements, implement solutions, and provide post-deployment support.
- Regularly review and clean metadata in Salesforce environments.
- Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce updates and features, ensuring our environment leverages the best and latest functionalities.
- Assist in training and guiding other team members on best practices related to Salesforce and Copado.
Qualifications
- Lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years with an ability to obtain Public Trust level clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Salesforce Admin certifications required.
- Minimum of 7 experience as a Salesforce Admin, with a strong focus on Dev Ops.
- Proven expertise in using Copado or a similar tool for Salesforce CI/CD pipeline setup and management.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, environment management, and deployment methodologies.
- Proficient in tools related to Salesforce Dev Ops, including version control, data migration, and metadata management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
