The Opportunity:

We’re looking for someone like you, a senior program leader that can oversee a diverse portfolio of research and data science initiatives supporting Army customers.

This role is responsible for end-to-end program execution, including managing budgets, deliverables, subcontractors, and geographically distributed teams across multiple concurrent projects to support one of the DoW’s data research and analytics environments. As a leader on our team, you will provide strong operational leadership, ensuring effective staffing, clear scope definition, and consistent delivery while serving as a trusted partner to both customers and internal teams.

You will oversee the delivery of data engineering, data science, research, and enterprise platform IT operations. As you guide a team of data architects, data engineers, and data scientists, you’ll partner with customers to support operating an efficient and effective analytical or AI platform for critical research programs. In addition to driving performance, you will play a key role in shaping strategy, identifying innovative solutions, and supporting the growth and sustainment of the program within a dynamic research environment.

You’ll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to lead the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress of efforts while bringing people together to make a tangible difference. • Lead end-to-end program execution for data platforms, engineering, data science, and enterprise analytics initiatives.
• Manage budgets, deliverables, subcontractors, and geographically distributed teams across multiple concurrent projects.
• Provide operational leadership, ensuring effective staffing, clear scope definition, and consistent delivery.
• Serve as a trusted partner to customers and internal teams, collaborating on strategy and innovation.
• Oversee the delivery of data engineering, data science, research, and enterprise platform IT operations.
• Guide a team of data architects, engineers, and scientists to operate efficient analytical or AI platforms.
• Lead Agile development of project roadmaps, establish milestones, and implement metrics to track progress.

• 12+ years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing programs such as data platforms, engineering, data science, enterprise analytics, and solution architecture.
• 12+ years of experience building and sustaining partnerships with government organizations and senior government executives.
• 12+ years of experience leading dispersed cross‑functional teams in engineering, architecture, analytics, and AI/ML, including subcontractors.
• 10+ years of experience leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data platforms and analytics.
• Experience leveraging client relationships, market knowledge, and government acquisition best practices to position the Army account and Army customers for continued growth.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and their application within complex research and data science environments.
• Ability to manage large programs and interface with senior DoD clients.
• Ability to recruit, hire, and strategically staff high‑performing teams aligned to mission needs.
• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience improving processes and efficiencies in data and team management.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and project management using Microsoft Project.
• Ability to quickly learn new low‑code/no‑code software and open‑source technologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and presentation experience with executives, clients, and professional peers.
• Master’s degree preferred;
  Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Project Management Professional or CompTIA Security+ certification.
