Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer (Mid‑to‑Senior Level)

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes container orchestration and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS. This role requires advanced knowledge of AWS architecture, containerization, automation, and Dev Ops practices to support modern application deployments.

• Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure
  • Design and implement complex AWS architectures leveraging services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and Cloud Front.
  • Apply best practices for scalability, security, high availability, and cost optimization.
  • Lead migration and modernization initiatives for cloud workloads.
• Containerization & Orchestration
  • Build and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for containerized workloads.
  • Develop and customize Helm charts for packaging and deploying applications on Kubernetes.
  • Manage Kubernetes manifests (YAML) for deployments, services, ingress, and other resources.
  • Implement advanced Kubernetes features such as RBAC, network policies, and autoscaling.

  • Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab or Git Hub Actions.
  • Automate operational tasks and deployments for efficiency and reliability.

  • Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and efficient query execution.
  • Build and manage scalable MongoDB/Document DB data models, document-based schemas, and performance tuning for high‑volume workloads.
• Monitoring & Logging
  • Configure observability tools (Cloud Watch) for performance monitoring.
  • Implement centralized logging and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution.
• Security & Compliance
  • Enforce AWS security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, encryption, and network segmentation.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration & Leadership
  • Partner with development teams to optimize application deployments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on cloud and Kubernetes best practices.

• AWS Expertise
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing and managing AWS services and architectures.
• Kubernetes & Containers
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred), Docker, and container lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency with Helm and Kubernetes manifests for deployment automation.
• Infrastructure as Code
  • Advanced proficiency in Terraform.
• Dev Ops Tools
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
• Scripting & Programming
  • Strong knowledge of Python, Bash, and similar scripting languages.
• Networking & Security
  • Deep understanding of VPC, subnets, security groups, IAM, and network security.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer.
