The Senior Network Engineer will provide enterprise-level network engineering support for DoD environments, including architecture design, implementation, modernization, and sustainment of secure WAN/LAN infrastructures across classified and unclassified systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, configure, and maintain enterprise WAN/LAN network architectures.
* Implement and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and secure network devices.
* Support network modernization and infrastructure upgrades.
* Perform network troubleshooting, fault isolation, and performance optimization.
* Develop and maintain network diagrams and configuration documentation.
* Implement STIGs and support cybersecurity compliance activities.
* Coordinate with Government stakeholders to support network integration and sustainment.
Desired
Experience:
* 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
* Experience supporting DoD or Navy network environments.
* Experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
* Experience with firewall configuration (ASA, Fire Power, SRX, etc.).
* Experience supporting ATO accreditation efforts.
* Familiarity with DISA or Joint network environments.
Education Requirements:
* Master's degree preferred.
* Bachelor's degree plus four (4) additional years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Master's degree.
Minimum
Certifications:
* Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)/Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices II (ICND2) or equivalent (e.g. Juniper Networks and CompTIA).
* IAT Level III at contract award (IAT certification in accordance with DODD 8140).
Security Requirements:
* U.S. Citizen.
* Active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance required.
