Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst/Data Analyst with a strong background in data engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in data analysis and will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis techniques and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Design and implement data models and data pipelines to facilitate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve business processes and outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and engineering.
- Proven experience in data analysis with a strong focus on data engineering.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques.
- Knowledge of data governance and data management best practices.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in data analysis and engineering.
- Certifications in data analysis or related fields (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.
