Davis Unlimited Information Technologies, Inc (DUIT) seeks hardware technicians with 0+ years of experience to join our certified, award-winning IT team. Positions are located in various parts of Maryland (e.g., Howard County).

• Install, repair, and troubleshoot computer hardware and peripherals.
• Install Windows, software, applications, antivirus, and patches.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Work with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Manage time and priorities effectively; work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Provide remote end-user support; demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Active Directory security and policies; communicate effectively with team members and support staff.
• Trains site personnel in proper use of hardware; installs and configures workstations, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test computer workstations, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment.
• Maintain cables and telephone systems; handle cabling and site installation documentation.
• Physical requirements:
  
  ability to lift up to 50 pounds and drive a company vehicle; perform lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling; occasional work in tight spaces.
• Availability to work an 8-hour shift between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. as determined by management.

• Minimum education/experience:
  High school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of experience. An AA or BS in a technical field may substitute for experience.
• 8570 Certification
• Preferred:
  Security+

• Active tier authorization to view nondisclosed information and completion of an investigative screening exam as required for the position.

• Security background check required; previous checks are a plus.
