Job Description The Senior Mission Assurance Advisor provides high-level technical, strategic, and operational guidance to Director, Competitive Activities (CDM), ISSO, BOND, and I&S leadership. This role shapes mission assurance, information warfare, cyber operations, modernization, and innovation initiatives across USAF, Joint, and DoD partners to ensure readiness, resiliency, and mission success across the Information Environment. Job Responsibilities
* Advise senior DoW, USAF, DoD, and HII leadership on cyber, IT, intelligence, AI, OIE, and special activities.
* Coordinate with enterprise stakeholders (DoW CIO, DISA, WHMO, SAF/OC, I&S, Services, COCOMs, Joint Staff, OSD).
* Lead CDM Mission Partner Environment (MPE) transition planning with DISA and DoD CIO.
* Support SAF/OC and CDM battle rhythm events, leadership forums, and strategic planning efforts.
* Align CDM capabilities to USAF IW and DoD OIE priorities; synchronize with Joint Warfighting Concepts.
* Review and improve CDM SOPs, planning processes, and reporting mechanisms.
* Conduct organizational assessments to improve CDM resourcing, workload balance, and ROI.
* Integrate ISSO Tampa operations with CDM priorities.
* Engage with HASC/SASC staff on CDM initiatives and Congressional priorities.
* Provide expert-level guidance on IW/OIE capabilities (cyber ops, PSYOP, MILDEC, STO, information-related capabilities).
* Educate senior staff on Joint Staff processes and assist with sensitive activities coordination.
Minimum Qualifications
* 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
* Extensive experience in Information Warfare, Operations in the Information Environment, cyber operations, or intelligence.
* Demonstrated ability to interface with senior DoD, Joint Staff, COCOM, and Service leaders.
* Strong understanding of IW/OIE doctrine, Joint planning processes, and national security strategies.
* Proven ability to lead large-scale modernization, digital transformation, organizational optimization, and mission assurance efforts.
* Experience improving acquisition speed, production resilience, supply chain stability, and technology deployment.
* Ability to manage politically sensitive issues and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, strategic advisory, and executive-level briefing skills.
* Clearance:
Possess and maintains a TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
