Junior Data Analyst​/BI Analyst with Security Clearance

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is looking for a Junior Data Analyst/BI Analyst to support our government customer located in the National Capital Region (NCR) . DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and reusable datasets.

* Create interactive visualizations that communicate KPIs, trends, and operational performance.

* Build and optimize data models using DAX, Power Query, and Dataflows.

* Integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms.

* Manage security, scheduled refreshes, and Power BI workspace governance.

* Troubleshoot performance, refresh, and connectivity issues.

* Validate data accuracy and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.

* Develop executive briefings, scorecards, and analytical reports.

* Provide user support and training on dashboards and self-service reporting tools.

* Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

* Monitor dashboard reliability and enforce quality assurance standards.

* Extract and integrate datasets from different sources to establish a unified data architecture, ensuring data consistency

* Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. REQUIRED DEGREE/

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field REQUIRED

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

* Advanced experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

* Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), Dataflows, and semantic modeling.

* Strong SQL and data integration skills.

* Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and star schema design.

* Experience with Azure SQL, SharePoint, Dataverse, and APIs.

* Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks is preferred.

* Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.

* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the Microsoft Power Platform.

* Up to three (0-3) years exp in Dashboard or Power BI DESIRED

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

* Microsoft PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst certification preferred

* Experience in government or large enterprise environments REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
