Consulting Systems Engineer

Description

• US Citizenship Required and the ability to pass a background check
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and technical sales skills
• 5 - 10 years of technical enterprise presales experience with a focus on solution sales
• Previous technical presales experience into Federal government
• Background in IRS, Treasury, and Fed Financial accounts is preferred
• Consultative solution selling skillsets including Cisco R/S and Unified Communications
• Solid Cisco Route Switch foundation
• Passion for driving Cisco solutions
• Required certifications include Cisco CCIE
• Relevant SAN, Server, and Backup/Recovery certifications are highly desired
• Knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications is a plus
• Experience with F5, VMware is highly desired
• Self-driven, business-minded, and goal-oriented
• Ability to travel within region and as needed to support customer accounts

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. The estimated base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $155,000. Actual salary will depend on various factors including location, experience, skills, and performance. Positions in other locations may have different ranges. Some positions may also be eligible for variable incentives such as bonuses or commissions.

WWT has an opportunity for a Consulting System Engineer supporting our Federal Civilian team. The role involves technical presales consulting, customer presentations, SOW development, project estimation, RFP responses, and BOM generation. The candidate will serve as the technical lead in Civilian accounts, building strong relationships with customers and partners.

Responsibilities:

• Presales support for Federal Civilian agencies around Cisco R/S, Unified Communications, A&O, Security
• Understanding issues and positioning solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements across technologies
• Positioning business relevance effectively
