Senior Cloud Engineer
The Senior Cloud Engineer will serve as a technical expert supporting applications and other unit mission needs. The engineer will lead the design, implementation, and management of hybrid IT environments leveraging AWS cloud services and on‑premises Windows Server infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Lead engineering, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications hosted in AWS and on‑premises Windows Server environments.
- Provide O&M support, including patching, hardening, system upgrades, and routine maintenance.
- Deliver infrastructure support during core and non‑core hours as needed to meet mission requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Cloud Engineers, DBAs, and Security Engineers, to ensure system compliance, reliability, and security.
- Support application development, deployment, and lifecycle activities in coordination with government and contractor teams.
- Strong expertise in AWS services (S3, EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, Cloud Watch) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, Dev Sec Ops practices, and auto‑scaling solutions.
- Ability to independently develop cloud optimization strategies and maximize AWS capabilities.
- Experience with full SDLC, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Strong analytical, technical, documentation, communication, and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently, identify system improvements, and support team growth.
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience.
Must possess active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this role.

CompensationTypical salary range starts at $155,000 and stretches up to $185,000. Additional rewards include a comprehensive benefits package, a culture that supports growth, and opportunities to make a real impact.
