Data Visualization Developer with Security Clearance

Quantum Sky is searching for a Data Visualization Developer to join a newly awarded Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management contract supporting a federal customer. This role involves designing and developing data-driven visualizations, dashboards, and web applications to support mission-critical analytics initiatives. Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver modular, scalable software applications to support customer analytics needs.
* Create and edit visual content including maps, charts, and graphs.
* Transform data sets, both quantitative and qualitative, into compelling visuals that inform decision-making.
* Provide visual, technical, and editorial guidance across cybersecurity teams.
* Support web development, web engineering, and dashboard integration.
* Work with large datasets, performing ETL (extract, transform, load) using languages like Python or R and database systems such as SQL Server or MySQL.
* Design dashboard layouts, visual elements, and interactivity, including chart types, color palettes, and other design elements to ensure clarity and impact. Qualifications

Required:

* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
* Experience with SQL and PowerBI for dashboarding.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights clearly to diverse audiences. Desired:
* Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Experience with Python or R and database systems such as SQL Server or MySQL. Clearance:
* US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Location:

* Hybrid-remote in Washington, DC, with expected 2-3 days on-site per week About Tyto Athene Compensation:
* Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $95,000-$105,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
