Senior Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our client's team in DC. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or possess 4+ years of relevant work experience.

• Proficient in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Extensive knowledge across various computer environments, platforms, and technologies.
• Experience in defining and documenting business process maps, utilizing swim lane format where possible.
• Expertise in crafting business/functional requirements, use cases, user stories, technical specifications, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results.
• Familiarity with a range of collaboration, requirements, testing, and support methodologies.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies such as SCRUM/SAFE and related techniques.
• Ability to create and document Project Life Cycle Management (PLM) artifacts and key process steps specific to Amtrak.
• Proficiency in translating technical issues for non-technical audiences.
• Capable of general troubleshooting for existing information systems or desktop applications to identify errors or deficiencies.
• Solid skills in Microsoft Office 365 suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
• Experience with BA tool sets including Jira, Confluence, Service Now, and Tableau.
