Amtrak Police Department Technical Systems Analyst
This position will provide Amtrak Police Department (APD) with a technical systems analyst assigned directly to their National Communication Center (NCC). The systems analyst will work closely with our customers to triage technical issues and provide an immediate point of escalation to our First Responders. The analyst will work directly with APD to learn the business, document their current usage, and assist in the design and development of APD Projects specific to the NCC, including but not limited to the CAD Upgrade, Phone and Radio Replacement, Text-a-Tip replacement, and License Plate Reader replacement.
The MSA will also gain working knowledge of service-now/ITIL platforms and navigate an issue through the incident management process.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Database
- Experience in implementation and integration of vendor developed applications (COTS)
Experience in public safety software is preferred.
