Responsibilities:
- Technical Oversight and Leadership:
Provide strategic direction and technical oversight for the design and development of Operational Safety and Public Systems. Collaborate closely with Program Managers, Business Analysts, QA Leads, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project requirements and objectives. - Collaborative Direction:
Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to steer and guide the design and development processes. Provide guidance and leadership to the development team for the effective delivery of project requirements. - Platform Coordination:
Facilitate seamless coordination across shared platforms, such as Salesforce, Mulesoft, and AWS. Ensure efficient utilization of these platforms and foster collaboration among horizontal partners. - Documentation and Project Management:
Create, manage, and maintain detailed design and project documents. Uphold best practices in documentation while overseeing the execution of development processes. - Dev Ops
Collaboration:
Liaise with Dev Ops teams to streamline deployment processes, ensuring efficient and effective deployment of developed solutions. - Quality Assurance and Security Oversight:
Oversee development and unit testing processes, ensuring the adherence to quality standards. Coordinate closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance and security measures are in place. - Stationed Presence:
Maintain a physical presence within the United States as a requirement for the role. - Platforms:
Proficiency in Salesforce, Mulesoft, AWS (EC2, Elastic Beanstalk), and API/Service Development (Mulesoft, AWS API Gateway, Lambda). - Database/Storage:
Experience with Microsoft SQL, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Redshift, AWS Aurora, AWS S3, AWS RDS. - Programming
Languages:
Expertise in Java, Node.
JS, Python, SQL. - Vendor Application Integration:
Previous experience in implementing and integrating vendor-developed applications (COTS). - Domain
Experience:
Preferred background in public/operational safety software.
