Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team  ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Trellix/HBSS endpoint security solutions and a strong understanding of enterprise security practices. This role involves monitoring, managing, and enhancing endpoint protection systems to safeguard organizational assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain endpoint security solutions, specifically Trellix/HBSS
• Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in a timely manner
• Perform threat analysis and vulnerability assessments
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint security issues
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve overall security posture
• Maintain documentation for security processes and configurations

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with Trellix/HBSS (Host-Based Security System)
• Strong understanding of endpoint protection, threat detection, and incident response
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
• Experience with security monitoring tools and log analysis
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP)
• Experience in a defense or government environment
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and network security concepts
