Justice Trax LIMS System Administrator
The LIMS Systems Administrator will work with the team to manage and optimize the Justice Trax Laboratory Information Management System (JTLIMS) for the client. This position will be a technical expert for the LIMS platform, overseeing system configuration, customization, and ongoing support and maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Justice Trax LIMS and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of laboratory workflows and software development fundamentals.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with laboratory staff, IT teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure the system aligns with organizational requirements while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards. This role bridges the gap between laboratory operations and information technology, requiring technical expertise and the ability to translate user needs into practical solutions.
Qualifications & Expertise:
- Experience with administering JTLIMS 3.X
- Experience working in a Helpdesk supporting end-users in an enterprise environment
- Experience with troubleshooting software, network and hardware
- Experience supporting and maintaining both desktop and web applications
- Experience with label printers and handheld scanners
- Communication skills, both written and spoken, business-level English mandatory
- Strong documentation skills

Experience administering JTLIMS 3.X or similar Laboratory Information Management Sys– including system configuration, management, and troubleshooting.

Experience supporting Windows OS- management of drivers, peripherals, drive mapping, patches and upgrades - 6

Experience working in a Forensic or Health Laboratory, preferably in an Information Technology role
