Business Process Engineer
In this Business Process Engineer role, you'll play a key part in documenting business processes, translating complex operational challenges into clear requirements, and helping drive Agile, data-focused project delivery. You'll work directly with clients and cross-functional teams to map workflows, support sprint activities, develop user stories, and produce high-quality consulting deliverables. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured problem-solving, collaborating across teams, and applying process thinking to data-centric environments.
What You Will Need:
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- TWO (2) or more years of professional experience in consulting, business analysis, business process mapping, or technology delivery including ONE (1) year working on Agile projects and hands-on experience using an Agile work-management tool (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Trello).
- Experience documenting business processes or requirements and producing client-facing deliverables (summaries, analyses, process documentation, user stories, etc.)
- Experience facilitating or co-facilitating stakeholder meetings and/or workshops, including leading discussion segments and documenting outcomes.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Understanding of data modeling basics (entity relationships, standard metadata fields)
- Ability to understand structured data, metadata, or business rules and apply process thinking in data-related contexts
- Exposure to reference data, master data management concepts, or enterprise data catalogs
- Knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notion (BPMN)
- Experience supporting product owners, scrum masters, or Agile team ceremonies.
- Experience coordinating work across multiple product teams, including engineering, data, and operations.
- Familiarity with digital transformation, AI/ML initiatives, or process automation.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
- Lean Six Sigma certification or experience supporting continuous improvement projects
- Consulting experience with direct client interaction.
The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
