USD 70,623 - 91,815 per year

Responsibilities
  • Assist senior data analysts, management, and staff in developing methods to extract and analyze data from CSN or during investigations, and relay findings to appropriate internal and external users
  • Use analytics and visualization tools, notably Tableau, to present information that informs fact-based decisions
  • Support extraction, cleaning, and processing of medium size data sets
  • Analyze, clean, and process sensitive consumer data from various sources, converting it to a standardized format for redress activities
  • Query and mine small to medium datasets to identify patterns, employing traditional and advanced techniques including large language models
  • Leverage MS Excel, Python, and other programming languages to analyze small to medium datasets of structured and unstructured data
  • Collaborate with teams to develop data products for a diverse set of stakeholders
Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship required by the closing date of this vacancy

  • At least one year of qualifying experience equivalent to GS-07, demonstrated via data analysis with Excel, Tableau, or similar software on small to medium datasets
  • Education pathway to GS-09:
    Master’s degree or equivalent graduate degree; or two years of progressively higher level graduate education; or related law degree (LL.B. or J.D.); or a combination of graduate education and specialized experience meeting 100% of GS-09 requirements
  • Experience may include paid and unpaid work, including volunteer service, with credit given for all qualifying experience
