RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures
* Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with enterprise goals
* Migrate legacy systems to cloud-based infrastructure while minimizing disruption
* Integrate cloud platforms with on-premises systems in hybrid environments
* Ensure compliance with cloud security and regulatory standards
* Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation
* Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency
* Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* 6+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years focused on cloud architecture and design
* Experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and hybrid cloud environments
* Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar cloud platforms (certifications preferred)
* Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks
* Proven experience with Dev Ops practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation)
* Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Architect
* Experience migrating mission-critical applications to the cloud
* Knowledge of federal security and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST)
* Background working with multi-disciplinary government or IC teams
